Generator
A KOHLER residential generator system, similar in size to a central air-conditioning unit, can be powered by natural gas (NG), or propane (LP). The system is installed in a permanent location outside your home.

Each system is enclosed in an unobtrusive protective housing that is tamper-resistant, weatherproof and sound-deadened. Systems are equipped with internal exhaust systems to ensure quiet, safe operation.

Automatic Transfer Switch
When your utility power fails, the KOHLER automatic transfer switch senses a loss of power and immediately starts the generator. Once utility power has been restored, the transfer switch shifts your business back to main power, and shuts down the generator.

The automatic transfer switch "exercises" the generator system weekly to ensure it is always in working order. Kohler automatic transfer switches are UL-listed and CSA certified.
